Snippet and Ink Shoot

As you may remember, a few months ago readers voted for their favorite Snippet and Ink inspiration board, which we set off to create in real life. The result is FINALLY here! Kathryn is also celebrating the launch of her newly designed site, so we’re incredibly honored to be her first post in her new digs!

We had a crazy awesome team come together to put on this shoot. Photographer Bonnie Tsang shot these gorgeous images, Peggy Wong of Blue Pool Road developed our fabulous stationery suite, Kate Holt of Flowerwild designed the stunning florals, Jeni Maus of Found Vintage Rentals put together all our killer furniture, and Chef Kate McAloon created a custom menu and styled (and cooked) all the glorious food! The location, which is available for real weddings, is Key’s Creek Lavender Farm.

You can head over to Snippet and Ink today for TONS of photos and details about our set up. I’m sharing a few of my favorites with you now, and have so many more that I’m excited to divulge later today, but for all the good stuff, head over to Snippet and Ink immediately!

Check back a little later today for more pictures and the recipe for this Salmon with Cherry Lime Sauce and Lavender Jelly created especially for us by Chef Kate McAloon.

  2. Wow this is soooo BEYOND! I just adore all of the floral arrangements, especially that spectacular altar. The banners are just so uniquely cool when paired with the rustic themes of the shoot.

Hi Melanie! No…the plates are actually from Marshall’s, believe it or not. I picked them up a while back, so sadly, they probably aren’t available anymore.
