Photographer Mikaela Rudhner sent over these images of Anna and Israel’s simply sweet wedding and I’m so excited to share them! That bouquet…it moved my good mood meter up AT LEAST three notches. The best part is, the bouquet was put together by Anna’s best friend on the morning of the wedding. UM? Yeah. DIY Flowers…Anna proves sometimes, it really can be done! Real Wedding: Nate and Alex

Nate and Alex were married at Bee Tree Park in St. Louis, Missouri and hosted a reception at Cliff Cave Park. Their wedding featured a number of simple handmade details that I know you’ll love. Photographer Shannen Norman sent over these pictures from Candice and Geoff’s wedding and I’m so thrilled. Sometimes, couples are so dang adorable, I can’t help but share their wedding. Candice’s short dress is so chic, and I absolutely adore the long ribbon trailing from her bouquet. I also love how creative the ceremony area is, with a bevy of ribbons adorning the sky. Oh…and letting your bridesmaids pick their own dress? Honestly…BEST thing ever. Bravo to wedding coordinator Amanda from In The Now Weddings and Events for helping design such a lovely wedding.

His work is truly art and it reminds me that at the end of the day, couples are wise to choose a photographer whose work they’d really be happy to have hanging on their wall for decades. Will it stand the test of time? I’m pretty sure Trever Hoehne will.

So thrilled to feature Christa and Jason’s romantic wintry wedding by Simply Bloom Photography! I know we’re slowly letting go of the frost, but as this is likely our last winter hoorah, I think we’re going out with a bang. Oh how I adore the bride’s hairpiece. Oh…and all the creamy furry caplets, ear muffs and gloves. Winter never looked warmer.

Rachel and Noah’s sweet vintage inspired wedding was shot by Sarah Shreves, and I’m really really loving the rustic vibe. Their location, Bernardo Winery in San Diego, really goes to show what a difference a great location can make! If you find just the right spot, what’s already on location can hopefully add to the look and feel of the day, without any extra costs for decor!

Real Wedding: Marri and Drew

Photographer Daniel Kiyoi works magic with his camera. I’m convinced he could shoot even an UGLY wedding and I’d still want to publish it. I fully believe that if photographers have the right eye, they can make any wedding look spectacular. That being said, it doesn’t hurt if the wedding is totally adorable, which of course is the case with Marri and Drew’s wedding. I love the simple sweet bouquets and the groom’s suspenders!

Real Wedding: Jessica and Ryan

I’m making up my absence to you with an extra special weekend post!

Jessica and Ryan got married at the top of Mount Holyoke (Massachusetts) in an intimate morning ceremony in the mist (you just can’t plan mist, can you? SO wish you could!). Jessica incorporated a number of thoughtful DIY details in their wedding and even provided polaroid and holga cameras for their guests to use. Their reception was held at the Montague Bookmill, and afterward, the couple went for a romp in a pumpkin patch with their dog. Elisabeth Millay took the incredible photos of this gorgeous wedding and I’m so unbelievably thankful she’s shared them with me…and you!
