I’m sure by now, you’ve seen Cheree and Jeff’s swoon worthy wedding featured on Martha Stewart Weddings. But just in case you haven’t, here are a few snaps:
Can I please just order these for my wedding? L.O.V.E.
But, what you may have NOT seen is more of Cheree’s portfolio at Cheree Berry. So, I thought I’d share a bit with you. Please note: I LOVE her use of unexpected shapes and patterns, particularly when she pairs them all up.
No wonder Cheree’s wedding was so gorgeous!
When Amanda, from Love Me Do Photography, sent over the images of this wedding, I nearly fell out of my seat. As you’ll see, the bride chose to wear red instead of the traditional white. And I can’t imagine a more exquisite red dress than this one, which the bride made herself from a vintage ball gown. As if it couldn’t get any more amazing…check out this stunning location (Valley Green Inn in Philadelphia), thoughtful details and incredibly amazing lighting fixture in the reception area. Then again…it all pales in comparison to the red dress! Swoon!
Hey Readers! So, I wanted to be sure you’re acquainted with the lovely gals over at Lucky Me. Their blog is a delight…and I’ll prove it to you with this darling inspiration board with a cherry theme. (Cherries are back in season…I’ve got a pile of them sitting in my fridge and I can’t stop heading to the kitchen for more!)
Anyhow…go visit Lucky Me. You’ll be glad you did!
I received an inspiration request the other day that proved rather challenging. Here’s what our reader wrote:

Our wedding theme is Rockabilly/50’s. I am having a hard time finding ideas for the reception. We are having a BBQ reception as we are pretty simple and dont really want the hassel of an elaborate reception. Just want to enjoy our day with family and friends. It will be a very laid back. We dont really have any “colors” as we are just trying to look for something fun and reflective of our style.

To me, black and white patterned material (lace, checkers, ploka dot) paired with pops of red is very Rockabilly. Let me know your thoughts. This was a tough one. Thanks to Isabel for the great request and really fun challenge.
