Check out this cutie little Newport Beach wedding shot by Trever Hoehne. I love how they used such bright and cheery colors–it makes for such a festive vibe.

Inspiration Request: Island Wedding
I received an inspiration request from a reader who is getting married on an island. She doesn’t want the look to be too forced, though, so I went for a colorful palette with navy blue, aqua and a little dollop of yellow. Hope you enjoy!
Oh! Be on the lookout for this week’s giveaway announcement, which will be up later today!

Yellow and Ocean
If I do another inspiration palette with aqua, you may have my head. So I called it ocean instead. I live by the beach and we are 15 degrees away from our beach cruisers hitting the sand with bikinis, fashion mags and ipods in hand. I can’t stop thinking in water hues, so you’re going to have to deal with some more aqua. I’m sorry. What more can I say? Hope you enjoy! Happy Monday!

Fresh and Vintage
This beautiful aqua, green, blue, and yellow palette was actually inspired by the typewriter. My sister called me this weekend to tell me about the wedding she’d just attended up in Washington. Her favorite feature was the guestbook: a typewriter with one long piece of paper, where guests typed their sentiments for the bride and groom. My sister was disappointed that I’ve seen this idea done, but I thought, maybe all of you haven’t seen it. Here’s a super cute palette based on a typewriter I saw at Three Potato Four. Sadly, it’s already sold…but I’m sure some flea market or ebay seller out there has something that will do the job!
