Erin and Ben’s wedding, shot by Unusually Fine Photography is full of bright fun details! My favorite things are Erin’s bouquet and those fabulous bright parasols. And I’ve got to say…bright red orange ties are fabulous.
Oh…and that gorgeous bouquet? It is by Carla of Events in Bloom. LOVE it!
This lovely wedding in the Catskills features lovely colors, wildflower centerpieces, farm animals and beautiful images by photographer Jami Saunders.
All the planning, DIY projects, coordinating, cake tastings, and swatch matching that goes into planning a wedding really can’t compare to what is taking place on that day. So, while I can’t EVER get enough of over-the-top details, centerpieces and decor, there is much to be said for the wedding intangibles–the emotions and moments that we rely on our photographers to capture.
So when Blue Window Creative sent this wedding over to me, my jaw dropped. While putting the post together, I felt so emotional looking at these images, I was almost brought to tears. This wedding is exactly what I imagine for myself one day, because each picture is a moment. Blue Window captured beautifully the emotion and celebration of the day and you can literally see the bonds–not just between Chelsea and Adam–but also between all of their family and friends. There is love here in every single one of these pictures: from the pre-wedding festivities, to the ceremony, to the family style meal, to the vineyard party after. I had a hard time choosing my favorite images!
Moral of the story: Consider choosing a photographer that is great at capturing moments. It’s harder than you think, and more important than you can imagine!

Photographer Mikaela Rudhner sent over these images of Anna and Israel’s simply sweet wedding and I’m so excited to share them! That bouquet…it moved my good mood meter up AT LEAST three notches. The best part is, the bouquet was put together by Anna’s best friend on the morning of the wedding. UM? Yeah. DIY Flowers…Anna proves sometimes, it really can be done! Photographer Abigail Seymour is about to rock your world. Melissa and Walter’s mountain wedding at Lake Eden was so absolutely gorgeous, I feel a bit like I’ve won the lottery because I get to share it here first! Everything from the eclectic wildflowers, to the eucalyptus wreath around the dainty cake, to the insanely beautiful light infused portrait session is absolutely perfect. This wedding infuses wild rustic elements with soft feminine touches and I just can’t get enough. Special thanks to Abigail Seymour for sharing these with us. Her work is always so incredibly lovely. Like I said, today, I won the lottery.
Abigail tells us a few details about Melissa and Walter’s wedding:
The huppah under which they said their vows was made from a vintage lace tablecloth that belonged to Melissa’s grandmother, and was carried by their bridal party via tree branches found that morning in the woods. She and Walter chose to see each other beforehand, and then immediately after the ceremony they took a private, ten-minute walk through the woods. They wisely understood how easy it is to spend the whole wedding together without really getting a chance to stop and appreciate what has happened.
So many lovely, thoughtful details: the escort cards were clipped to a yellow Schwinn bicycle, the theme of which was echoed in the boxed chocolate wedding favors. There was old-fashioned cornhole to play, frisbees to be thrown, beachballs and bubbles for the kids, and a { kick-a** band } that has played the { LEAF festival }, on whose hallowed ground the whole shindig took place.

Stephanie and Kylan’s wedding has so many pops of color! It’s a perfect midweek summertime treat. Photographer Sarah Rhoads shared these images with us and I’m hoping they’ll be a nice little pick-me-up. (That is…if you are in need of one).
Eric and Lina are an internationally diverse couple. While Eric is from the U.S., Lina hails from Denmark. One of the interesting things about planning their wedding were the American traditions, says Lena:
Bridesmaids aren’t a Danish tradition in weddings, but Eric explained the meaning behind it, and it was fun to choose special people in my life to share in the day. Nana, my sister, insisted on being called the ‘best girl’ after she heard the guy version is called ‘best man’-maid of honor didn’t cut it for her. It was really special to me that I could honor my cousins who traveled a long distance to come to my wedding in California.
One of my other favorite parts of their wedding were crepes made to order by Crepes Bonaparte. LOVE IT! Special thanks to T&H Photography for sharing their work! As always, they’ve taken gorgeous photos!

Photographer Kristen Leigh’s work is always always impeccable. Pretty much everything she shoots is an editor’s dream. Melissa and Ryan’s wedding is no exception. Their location, Strong Mansion, in Maryland, is unreal. I mean…it looks like a scene out of Pride and Prejudice. I really mean it! And all that bright color is just too good to be true!
Oh…and you may remember Melissa and Ryan’s engagement session, which I also featured here. I LOVE when I get to feature both the engagement and the wedding…it makes my selfish heart really happy. Special thanks to Kristen for sharing her insanely lovely images!
