Styled!

I wanted to start this morning off with another exciting little goody! We’ve officially launch my site for styling!! I am seriously busting at the seams with gratitude and excitement. I could not have done it without the talent of my logo designer, Lindsay of M. Stetson Design and my web designer, Lucia Dinh. These gals went through the process of self discovery with me (which is what you usually end up doing when you’re developing a brand identity) and they put up with a lot of demands, revisions, revamping, mind changing, more revisions, and more demands. They’ve really outdone themselves and I couldn’t recommend their gorgeous work more highly! And I have to thank the insanely talented Trever Hoehne for shooting my bio pics for me. He can make a paper bag look great!

So here are a few sneaks from the site, but definitely go and check it out. Of course, if you like the idea of hiring a stylist for your own shoot (whether it be engagement, anniversary, Christmas or just because) then you must head on over!

If you love this, just wait until you see our shiny new little Grey Likes makeover. She’s sooo pretty! You’re going to love her!

Check back in later today…I’ve got more for you!

Grey Likes Models!

As you know, we’re putting together a runway show for the Hitched Event. We still need a few models, so if you are over 5’10”, available on the 21st and 23rd, and aren’t afraid of walking a pseudo runway, we’d love to hear from you! Email lindye@lindyegalloway.com for more information!

Oh…by the way…tickets are almost sold out. These babies will not be sold at the door, so if you’re planning on going, but haven’t bought your ticket, there’s no time to waste!

Grey is getting a makeover!

I’m really excited to make a fabulous announcement today! Grey Likes is ALMOST done with her pretty little makeover. The whole new look will make you want to come here that much more. Our little Grey will be so pretty, you’ll want to eat her like a macaroon. You might even be tempted to stick her in your pocket so you can snack on her little ditties throughout the day. I just can’t tell you how excited I am and how thankful I feel for this gal and this gal for making it all possible (but more about that later).

Today–which happens to be my birthday, so it’s a perfect little gift–I’m happy to announce that we are finally going to be offering sponsorship opportunities on Grey Likes. We’ve had a flood of inquiries over the past few years, and I’m so excited that we can now offer a platform for amazing businesses to share their products and designs with you all. If you are one of those folks and would like to find out more about becoming a sponsor, send an email and a link to your business to advertise@greylikesweddings.com. We’ll send you a sneak peek of our new identity along with information about become a sponsor.

We’re counting down the days until Grey shows off her pretty new makeover. Get excited!

I hope you enjoy your Monday! I’m off to spend the day celebrating with my love! I see sweets and candles in the very near future.

Engaged: Arthur and Jessica

First off, this couple is absolutely darling. Second, because the groom is studying to be an optometrist, their stylists, Tiffany and Amber of Thank Chic Santa Barbara, decided to play up the theme…which turned out so dang cute, I can’t even handle it. And third, special special thanks to photographers Gina Oh and Kim Seidel of Gina Maxine Photography for being willing to share such a darling session with us. They are such talented photographers and though their work speaks for itself, I must say–it is really amazing!

Resources included: Urban Outfitters: Striped blanket, glasses, his yellow shoes and striped laces, initial necklaces, her black shoes, his light yellow striped shirt. Forever 21: both dresses, skirt and tank, striped socks, knee high socks and her tights. Anthropologie: yellow plate and brass plate holder, candle holder, turquoise and blue pots. Ebay: eye tie. Flea market: Miscellaneous.

Save the Date!

Today I wanted to share with you these ADORABLE save the date cards that designer Yeri Yun sent out for her own wedding. Yeri used a technique called gocco, which can be DIY friendly if you are crazy ambitious (check out a little video tutorial here). Beyond that, I love that Yeri created a bunting banner as her save the date. How festive–I can just imagine all the guests that hung up her sweet little bunting somewhere around the house–it’s just so happy. And creative! I hope you enjoy…

Farewell to Summer

As we bid farewell to summer (though I honestly doubt it ever really came at all what with this wimpy weather–but that’s neither here nor there) I wanted to share one final homage to warmer days. This engagement session by Breen Film was shot underwater! I can’t resist the groom to be, who somehow found a tux to take in for the dive. I love how ethereal these images look!
