Are you ready for the most glorious fall foliage ever? Oh my goodness. My jaw dropped when I saw these incredible shots by Richard Ellis Photography with Greg Gibson Photography. These images look like they came straight out of a movie. I mean really. I sooooo wish for a fall wedding!

The umbrellas in this downtown Seattle wedding immediately captured my heart. Oh how lovely a rainy day wedding can be. If you’ve got a cloudy forecast, I say just arm yourself with some adorable umbrellas like these, and you’ll be set! Marty and Tanya also incorporated many eco-friendly touches in their wedding, including reusable grocery bags as favors. Of course their bags were custom printed with a design that tied in to their stationery. Darling!
Thanks to Sally at Sea Studio for sending this wedding over! Check below for additional vendor info.
Oh my goodness!!! First off, I must tell you how excited I am to feature this wedding, particularly because I got to feature Meg and Devin’s engagement session here. It means so much to have such sweet and gorgeous readers that send me their beautiful moments to share with you all! And of course I’m so loving Meg and Devin’s down home wedding! All of the details are so incredible…from the barbecue rub and grandma’s brittle to the handkerchiefs and chalkboard table numbers…I die! Here’s what Meg had to say about her wedding:
Devin and I got married at The Plant at Kyle a renovated cement plant in the Texas Hill Country in Kyle, Texas outside of Austin. We had about 100 people and got married in the late afternoon. The inspiration was part vintage and part cowboy- we really also tried to compliment the space because it was amazing on its own. We really love Marfa, Texas (even thought about getting married there) and tried to mirror some of that aesthetic. Many of the favors and decorations were handmade by us and our families. Our colors were sage green, peachy orange and slate gray which really reflected the natural landscape. It was such a fabulous day.

Happy Monday! I hope you are recovering from a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. I absolutely loved spending the last few days in the kitchen with my nearest and dearest. But I haven’t felt hungry since Wednesday. As I spend the day recuperating and getting back in gear, I thought I’d share Erin and Nic’s wedding with you.
Kristin Spencer was unbelievably kind enough to let me share this wedding with you and I can’t tell you how lucky I feel. This wedding is so unbelievably summery and nautical and East Coast. Everything I’d want in a wedding. I know it’s hard to take yourself back to July, what with your chilly temperatures outside and warm pumpkin bread in hand. But the moment you see these photos, you’ll wish you were sipping lemonade on a Nantucket beach.
It’s a little known fact that I went to graduate school to study English. I had originally thought I wanted to get my doctorate and teach literature. Then I realized how terrible the job market is for Ph.D.’s in English. And the plan started to unravel. Nevertheless, I have an obsession with words, which means my favorite game is Scrabble (though oddly, not many people like to play it with me. Hmmm?).
So you can imagine my absolute delight when Jeff Wallace sent over this wedding which incorporated a little shout out to Scrabble, which Chris and Layla played on their first date. How cute is that? Such personality!
I wanted to do a special post on B. Poetic’s work, which I fell in love with a few months ago while planning the design for the JC workshop I designed and styled. If you haven’t discovered Kaitlin yet, you’ve really got to make sure you check out her site and blog. Everything is so fresh, cheery, feminine and all around too good to be true. Kaitlin was so sweet to send me a few pieces from her collection, which I happily borrowed. They added such a gorgeous touch!
So really…head over to her site now and make your wardrobe ten times cuter with a handmade detail from B. Poetic. Before you go though, here are a few adorable pictures from a wedding that featured her too-cute shoe clips! These GORGEOUS photos were shot by Jenny McCann.
Uh…I don’t know what to say about this wedding…because it is so freaking cute, I don’t even know how to handle it. I mean…if you have a super rad red leather couch as the feature of your photo booth, pretty sure you can do no wrong. This wedding shall be a road map to my own!
So unbelievably thrilled that Danielle from Skye Blu Photography shared these gorgeous photos with us!
Can I tell you how lucky I feel that I get to post this too cute for words wedding? Oh my. Please note my new fave trend: pies. Forget the candy buffet and give me some flaky crust and warm berries. Mmmmm…. Way to go Becky and Tyler on such a charming wedding!
Special thanks to Trever Hoehne for letting me share his glorious photos!
Preston and Tara’s love story, in a nutshell, is as follows (courtesy of Kristen Leigh, their amazing photographer): Bride born in Paris, raised in Brazil, Australia, Europe and America, becomes lawyer. Meets attractive, dapper man lawyer at a wedding (I’m guessing they were the only two not dancing? haha kidding). They fell in love and planned a wedding.
This wedding is SO MUCH FUN. I really love the vintage carnival theme! Special thanks to Kristen for sharing these images with me…I feel like such a lucky blogger! Check out her blog to see more photos!
